In fact, we start from scratch with most every project because the old resumes we receive are neither tailored to the type of job being targeted (including ATS keyword optimization), nor written to CPRW standards.

How Does The Resume Writing Process Work?

Select your package/service online.

Once services/package has been selected, you will be assigned to your industry specific writer based on your career background or career objective(s). In certain circumstances (esp. if we have multiple writers with industry familiarity and we can improve process times), we have one conduct the interview and another write the resume.

Your assigned writer will then email you to set up an in-depth interview with you to collect information to better understand your career and academic background and career objective(s).

Your writer will work closely one-on-one via phone/email (or in-person if we determine your situation is too complex) with you to extract a massive amount of information from you such as: metrics, hard skills, accomplishments, core competencies, and to better understand your career objective(s).

If you have a resume, our writers typically throw most clients resumes away and start from scratch. Most people cannot write resumes at the level we do. Our writers are resume engineers.

Your writer will tailor your new resume toward the type of position being sought.

Your completed resume will be emailed to you in MS Word (unrestricted access).

If you need any revisions to your completed resume, contact your writer via email with any revision request. You will have two rounds of unlimited revisions that you can complete within 30 days. Please note that revisions do not include tailoring a resume toward a second type of position (i.e. tailoring a resume toward a firefighter position and then retargeting it toward an accounting position would require a full rewrite of a new resume).

Complete the entire process within 90 days.
