Your LinkedIn Headline: this should be targeted to the job you're looking for. For example, if you are looking for an Accounting job but your headline says nothing about you being an accountant then you'll need to change that.
Your summary: This is a place you can/should use first person perspective. Your LinkedIn profile is yours, use first person verbiage. This is also a place you can talk about your achievements, interests, etc. Add a bit of flavor.
Your work experience: this should be updated with your title, company, and duties & accomplishments.
Your education: This is a place you can add your degrees, certifications and whatnot.
Skills: You should use your top 10-20 skills that are relevant to your career. You don't need to use all 50. If you are no longer working with Python and never want to work again with Python, remove it. You can also put them in order of importance.
Recommendations: If/when you can get recommendations from your colleagues. These should be objective and talk about your super powers.
Profile picture: you don't need a professional headshot, but it should be a picture of you.
